Day 35, D-5 찬양 묵상: 나는 주의 친구 Friend of God

¹⁵ 이제부터는 너희를 종이라 하지 아니하리니 종은 주인의 하는 것을 알지 못함이라 너희를 친구라 하였노니 내가 내 아버지께 들은 것을 다 너희에게 알게 하였음이니라 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. (NASB)

^13-14 사람이 친구를 위하여 자기 목숨을 버리면 이에서 더 큰 사랑이 없나니 너희가 나의 명하는 대로 행하면 곧 나의 친구라 Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. (NASB)

요한복음 John 15

²³ 이에 경에 이른 바 이브라함이 하나님을 믿으니 이것을 의로 여기셨다는 말씀이 응하였고 그는 하나님의 벗이라 칭함을 받았나니 and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “ And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God.

²² 네가 보거니와 믿음이 그의 행함과 함께 일하고 행함으로 믿음이 온전케 되었느니라 You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected.
