Love Never Fails (찬양 16’03”)
내가 에브라임에게는 사자 같고 유다 족속에게는 젊은 사자 같으니 바로 내가 움켜갈지라 내가 탈취하여 갈지라도 건져낼 자가 없으리라
그들이 그 죄를 뉘우치고 내 얼굴을 구하기까지 내가 내 곳으로 돌아가리라 그들이 고난 받을 때에 나를 간절히 구하리라오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라
여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 셋째 날에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그의 앞에서 살리라
그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them.
Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me.”“Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.

After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.
Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”
사람이 여호와의 구원을 바라고 잠잠히 기다림이 좋도다
사람은 젊었을 때에 멍에를 메는 것이 좋으니
혼자 앉아서 잠잠할 것은 주께서 그것을 그에게 메우셨음이라
그대의 입을 땅의 티끌에 댈지어다 혹시 소망이 있을지로다
자기를 치는 자에게 뺨을 돌려대어 치욕으로 배불릴지어다…살아 있는 사람은 자기 죄들 때문에 벌을 받나니 어찌 원망하랴
우리가 스스로 우리의 행위들을 조사하고 여호와께로 돌아가자it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.
Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him.
Let him bury his face in the dust– there may yet be hope.
Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace….Why should any living man complain when punished for his sins?
예레미야애가 Lamentations 3:26-30, 39-40
Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.
[사랑은] 모든 것을 참으며 모든 것을 믿으며 모든 것을 바라며 모든 것을 견디느니라
사랑은 언제까지나 떨어지지 아니하되 예언도 폐하고 방언도 그치고 지식도 폐하리라
우리는 부분적으로 알고 부분적으로 예언하니
온전한 것이 올 때에는 부분적으로 하던 것이 폐하리라It (Love) always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.고린도전서 1Corinthians 13:7-10
