하나님이여 주의 도는 극히 거룩하시오니 하나님과 같이 위대하신 신이 누구오니이까
주는 기이한 일을 행하신 하나님이시라 민족들 중에 주의 능력을 알리시고

하나님의 길은 거룩합니다. 우리는 거룩하지 못하지만, 이제는 우리가 함께 가는 길이 거룩하게 하셨습니다. 하나님께서 능력으로 우리에 대해서 오래 참으셔서 예수님을 주셨기 때문입니다.
구약: 레위기 5-6장
만일 그의 힘이 어린 양을 바치는 데에 미치지 못하면 그가 지은 죄를 속죄하기 위하여 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 여호와께로 가져가되 하나는 속죄제물을 삼고 하나는 번제물을 삼아

우리에게는 힘에 지나도록 많이 요구하지 않으시나, 우리에게 전부를 주신 하나님. 우리를 불쌍하게 여기시지만, 그 죄는 반드시 속죄해야 하셨던 하나님. 그러므로 자기 자신으로 우리를 속죄하기로 하신 하나님을 사모합니다.
신약: 누가복음 9장
문득 두 사람이 예수와 함께 말하니 이는 모세와 엘리야라 영광중에 나타나서 장차 예수께서 예루살렘에서 별세하실 것을 말할새
Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.
Opeens stonden er twee mannen met Hem te praten: het waren Mozes en Elia, die in hemelse luister verschenen waren. Ze spraken over zijn heengaan, de weg die Hij in Jeruzalem zou voltooien.
9:30-31
모세와 엘리야가 보였던 구원의 길을 이제 직접 행하시는 예수님. 예루살렘에서 우리를 위한 출애굽을 행하실 예수님. 오래 참으신 하나님의 능력 그 자체. 그리고 우리에 대하여 고통하시고, 고통에서 끌어내시는 사랑: 자비 그 자체.
마무리 시편: 78편
그뿐 아니라 하나님을 대적하여 말하기를 하나님이 광야에서 식탁을 베푸실 수 있으랴
보라 그가 반석을 쳐서 물을 내시니 시내가 넘쳤으나 그가 능히 떡도 주시며 자기 백성을 위하여 고기도 예비하시랴 하였도다They spoke against God, saying, “Can God spread a table in the desert?
When he struck the rock, water gushed out, and streams flowed abundantly. But can he also give us food? Can he supply meat for his people?”Zij beledigden God
en zeiden: ‘Zou God in staat zijn
een tafel te dekken in de woestijn?
Toen Hij op de rots sloeg,
vloeide er water,
stroomden er beken –
maar zou Hij zijn volk ook
brood en vlees kunnen geven?’78:19-20
변치 않으시고 오래 참으시는 능력의 하나님 앞에 우리가 드리는 것은 불평과 불만과 불신입니다. 오늘도 하나님을 향한 차가운 마음을 형제에게 그대로 내비칩니다. 주여, 광야에서 물을 내시고, 만나를 주시고, 고기를 주셨듯, 우리가 먹고 마시는 것만 가지고 사는 것이 아니고 하나님의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 하나님과 사람들 앞에 사는 것을 알게 하소서.
