요한1서 1-5장

보라 아버지께서 어떠한 사랑을 우리에게 베푸사 하나님의 자녀라 일컬음을 받게 하셨는가, 우리가 그러하도다 그러므로 세상이 우리를 알지 못함은 그를 알지 못함이라

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Bedenk toch hoe groot de liefde is die de Vader ons heeft geschonken! Wij worden kinderen van God genoemd, en dat zijn we ook. Dat de wereld ons niet kent, komt doordat de wereld Hem niet kent.

3:1

하나님을 사랑하는 것은 이것이니 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키는 것이라 그의 계명들은 무거운 것이 아니로다 무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라

This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Want God liefhebben houdt in dat we ons aan zijn geboden houden. Zijn geboden zijn geen zware last, want ieder die uit God geboren is, overwint de wereld. En de overwinning op de wereld hebben wij behaald met ons geloof.

5:3-4

하나님께서 우리를 먼저 사랑하셔서 우리에게 당신의 생각을 온전히 다 베푸셨습니다. 우리도 하나님을 사랑하여 주께서 가르치신 사랑과 섬김의 본을 따르게 하소서. 사랑하고 섬김으로 서로 주를 생각나게 하고 세상을 이기는 믿음을 갖게 하소서.

시편 50편

하나님을 잊어버린 너희여 이제 이를 생각하라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 너희를 찢으리니 건질 자 없으리라
감사로 제사를 드리는 자가 나를 영화롭게 하나니 그의 행위를 옳게 하는 자에게 내가 하나님의 구원을 보이리라

“Consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you to pieces, with none to rescue:
He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.”

Begrijp dit goed, jullie die God vergeten,
of Ik verscheur je, en er is niemand die redt:
wie een dankoffer brengt, geeft Mij alle eer,
wie zo zijn weg gaat, zal zien dat God redt.

50:22-23

해가 닿는 온 세상과 나의 모든 생애와 생활을 부르시고 사랑하셨건만 주의 사랑을 알지 못하는 사람처럼 주고 받는 계산만 하고, 말씀을 지키는 체하며 거짓을 행하는 우리의 어두운 면을 불쌍히 여기시고 비추소서. 우리가 하나님을 잊어 찟김 당하지 않도록 주께서 우리에게 서로 하나님을 생각나게 하게 하셨습니다. 하나님을 기억하게 될 때마다 부인하지 않고, 마음을 돌려 인정하고, 감사로 함께 나아오는 우리가 되게 하소서.
