민수기 24-27장

내가 그를 보아도 이 때의 일이 아니며 내가 그를 바라보아도 가까운 일이 아니로다 한 별이 야곱에게서 나오며 한 규가 이스라엘에게서 일어나서 모압을 이쪽에서 저쪽까지 쳐서 무찌르고 또 셋의 자식들을 다 멸하리로다

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth.

Ik zie iemand staan. Niet nu, maar in de toekomst.
Hij komt op in Israël, zoals een ster opkomt aan de hemel.
Hij is koning over Israël.
Hij vernietigt Moab, het volk dat afstamt van Set.

24:17

제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 보고 회중 가운데에서 일어나 손에 창을 들고
그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 막사에 들어가 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫어서 두 사람을 죽이니 염병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그쳤더라

When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand
and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear through both of them–through the Israelite and into the woman’s body. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped;

Toen Pinehas, de zoon van Eleazar, de zoon van de priester Aäron, dat zag, stond hij op en pakte een speer. 8 Hij volgde de man tot in de tent en stak de speer dwars door de man en de vrouw heen. Toen hield de ziekte op die onder het volk was uitgebroken.

25:7-8

여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 눈의 아들 여호수아는 그 안에 영이 머무는 자니 너는 데려다가 그에게 안수하고
그를 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고 그들의 목전에서 그에게 위탁하여
네 존귀를 그에게 돌려 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중을 그에게 복종하게 하라

So the LORD said to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand on him.
Have him stand before Eleazar the priest and the entire assembly and commission him in their presence.
Give him some of your authority so the whole Israelite community will obey him.

Toen zei de Heer tegen Mozes: “Laat Jozua komen, de zoon van Nun. Hij is vol van mijn Geest. Breng hem naar de priester Eleazar en het hele volk. Leg hem de handen op. Geef hem het gezag dat jij had en zeg tegen hen dat hij je opvolger is. Het hele volk van de Israëlieten moet het horen.

27:18-20

모든 상황을 주관하시고 모든 것을 당신의 영광을 위해 사용하시는 하나님의 전능하신 능력에 감사드립니다. 변치 않으시는 하나님의 약속과 신실하심을 믿을 수 있는 믿음을 우리에게도 주소서. 예상치 못한 곳과 사람들에게서 하나님의 손길을 알아볼 수 있는 분별력을 주소서. 그리스도 안에서 성취된 예언을 먹고 마실 때마다 기념하고 하나님의 약속의 성취이시고 모든 이의 소망이신 예수 그리스도를 예배하게 하소서.

시편 95편

오라 우리가 굽혀 경배하며 우리를 지으신 여호와 앞에 무릎을 꿇자
그는 우리의 하나님이시요 우리는 그가 기르시는 백성이며 그의 손이 돌보시는 양이기 때문이라 너희가 오늘 그의 음성을 듣거든
너희는 므리바에서와 같이 또 광야의 맛사에서 지냈던 날과 같이 너희 마음을 완악하게 하지 말지어다

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert,

Kom mee naar de Heer,
laten we ons diep voor Hem buigen.
Laten we knielen voor de Heer die ons heeft gemaakt.
Want Hij is onze God en wij zijn zijn volk.
Hij is de Herder en wij zijn zijn schapen.
Wanneer je vandaag zijn stem hoort, luister dan naar Hem!
Hij zegt: “Wees niet koppig en ongehoorzaam,
zoals jullie voorouders in de woestijn bij Meriba en Massa.

95:6-8

하나님을 나의 왕으로 인정할 마음을 오늘도 우리에게 허락해 주소서. 하나님을 예배하고 하나님의 임재를 기쁨으로 누릴 마음을 오늘도 우리에게 심어주소서. 겸손하고 자족하는 마음으로 하나님 앞에 나아가게 하시고 우리의 마음이 굳어지지 않도록 하나님의 음성에 귀 기울이게 하소서. 우리의 마음이 하나님의 의도를 업신 여기는 죄를 범치 않게, 억눌린 자와 목이 곧은 자에게도 은혜 베푸셔서 거룩하게 드러나기 원하시는 하나님의 인도하심에 순종할 수 있게 하소서.
