열왕기상 5-6장

여호와의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하여 이르시되
네가 지금 이 성전을 건축하니 네가 만일 내 법도를 따르며 내 율례를 행하며 내 모든 계명을 지켜 그대로 행하면 내가 네 아버지 다윗에게 한 말을 네게 확실히 이룰 것이요
내가 또한 이스라엘 자손 가운데에 거하며 내 백성 이스라엘을 버리지 아니하리라 하셨더라

The word of the LORD came to Solomon:
“As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, carry out my regulations and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David your father.
And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.”

En de Heer zei tegen Salomo: “Als je Mij gehoorzaamt en je houdt aan mijn wetten en leefregels, zal Ik doen wat Ik je vader David heb beloofd: Ik zal bij de Israëlieten wonen in de tempel die jij nu voor Mij aan het bouwen bent. En Ik zal mijn volk Israël niet verlaten.”

6:11-13

역대하 2-3장

누가 능히 하나님을 위하여 성전을 건축하리요 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘이라도 주를 용납하지 못하겠거든 내가 누구이기에 어찌 능히 그를 위하여 성전을 건축하리요 그 앞에 분향하려 할 따름이니이다

But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?

Eigenlijk kan niemand een tempel voor Hem bouwen, want de hemel, zelfs de allerhoogste hemel, is nog te klein voor Hem. Hij heeft het helemaal niet nodig dat ik een tempel voor Hem bouw. Maar ik wil dat doen om Hem offers te kunnen brengen.

2:6

솔로몬이 예루살렘 모리아 산에 여호와의 전 건축하기를 시작하니 그 곳은 전에 여호와께서 그의 아버지 다윗에게 나타나신 곳이요 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당에 다윗이 정한 곳이라

Then Solomon began to build the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the place provided by David.

Toen begon Salomo met het bouwen van de tempel in Jeruzalem op de berg Moria, waar de Heer naar zijn vader David was gekomen. Hij bouwde hem op de plek die David daarvoor had uitgezocht: op de dorsvloer van Ornan.

3:1

자기 백성 가운데 거하기를 기뻐하시며, 주를 예배할 처소를 친히 준비하게 하시는 하나님. 눈에 보이는 성전보다 크신 하나님께서 이제 그리스도 안에서 우리 가운데 거하시며 우리를 주의 성전으로 지어 가심을 기억합니다. 우리의 열심으로 주께서 거하실 만한 사람이 되려 하지 않고, 우리 가운데 거하시는 성령을 의지하여 주를 사랑하고 순종하게 하소서. 우리의 계획과 수고와 예배가 나의 원하는 것을 채우기 위한 것이 아니라, 우리 가운데 이루시는 예수님의 의와 나라를 보는 일이 되게 하소서.

시편 143편

여호와여 내 기도를 들으시며 내 간구에 귀를 기울이시고 주의 진실과 의로 내게 응답하소서
주의 종에게 심판을 행하지 마소서 주의 눈 앞에는 의로운 인생이 하나도 없나이다
원수가 내 영혼을 핍박하며 내 생명을 땅에 엎어서 나로 죽은 지 오랜 자 같이 나를 암흑 속에 두었나이다
그러므로 내 심령이 속에서 상하며 내 마음이 내 속에서 참담하니이다

O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.
The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in darkness like those long dead.
So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.

Heer, luister naar mijn gebed,
hoor hoe ik U om hulp smeek.
Antwoord mij, want U bent trouw en rechtvaardig.
Veroordeel mij niet, Heer.
Voor U is immers niemand helemaal onschuldig.
Mijn vijanden vertrappen me.
Ze trappen me de grond in.
Ik voel me alsof ik zit opgesloten in het donker,
bij de doden in het dodenrijk.
Daarom ga ik bijna dood van ellende.
Ik ben helemaal wanhopig.

143:1-4

긍휼과 신실하심으로 우리의 기도를 들으시는 하나님. 우리의 삶이 상하고 낙심될 때 우리의 영혼이 주를 갈망하나 단지 나의 욕망을 소생케 하기 위한 갈망이 되지 않게 하소서. 우리가 목이 곧고 교만해지려 할 때 삶의 고단함과 궁핍함이 묘약이지마는, 그것으로 다시 나의 궁핍함을 채우는 일만을 주 앞에서 바라고 구하지 않게 하소서. 오직 주의 이름과 의로 우리 영혼을 살리심의 깊이를 알게 하소서.
