열왕기상 7-8장; 역대하 4

이 두 기둥을 성전의 주랑 앞에 세우되 오른쪽 기둥을 세우고 그 이름을 야긴이라 하고 왼쪽의 기둥을 세우고 그 이름을 보아스라 하였으며

He erected the pillars at the portico of the temple. The pillar to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.

Hij zette de pilaren neer bij de voorzaal. De pilaar aan de rechterkant noemde hij Jachin (= ‘vastzetten’). De pilaar aan de linkerkant noemde hij Boaz (= ‘kracht’).

7:21

제사장이 성소에서 나올 때에 구름이 여호와의 성전에 가득하매 제사장이 그 구름으로 말미암아 능히 서서 섬기지 못하였으니 이는 여호와의 영광이 여호와의 성전에 가득함이었더라

When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple.

Toen de priesters uit de heilige kamer kwamen, kwam er een wolk die de hele tempel van de Heer vulde. De priesters konden door die wolk niet blijven staan om dienst te doen. Want in de wolk was de machtige aanwezigheid van de Heer. De hele tempel werd ermee gevuld.

8:10-11

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주께서 주의 종 내 아버지 다윗에게 말씀하시기를 네 자손이 자기 길을 삼가서 네가 내 앞에서 행한 것 같이 내 앞에서 행하기만 하면 네게서 나서 이스라엘의 왕위에 앉을 사람이 내 앞에서 끊어지지 아니하리라 하셨사오니 이제 다윗을 위하여 그 하신 말씀을 지키시옵소서
그런즉 이스라엘의 하나님이여 원하건대 주는 주의 종 내 아버지 다윗에게 하신 말씀이 확실하게 하옵소서
하나님이 참으로 땅에 거하시리이까 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘이라도 주를 용납하지 못하겠거든 하물며 내가 건축한 이 성전이오리이까
그러나 내 하나님 여호와여 주의 종의 기도와 간구를 돌아보시며 이 종이 오늘 주 앞에서 부르짖음과 비는 기도를 들으시옵소서

“Now LORD, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said, ‘You shall never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in all they do to walk before me as you have done.’
And now, O God of Israel, let your word that you promised your servant David my father come true.
“But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.

Heer, God van Israël, wilt U nu ook de andere belofte werkelijkheid maken die U aan uw dienaar David heeft gedaan. U heeft beloofd: ‘Altijd zal één van jouw zonen koning van Israël zijn, als jouw zonen net zo dicht bij Mij leven als jij.’ God van Israël, laat alstublieft gebeuren wat U tegen uw dienaar David heeft gezegd. Zou U soms echt op aarde kunnen wonen? Kijk, de hemel, zelfs de allerhoogste hemel is nog te klein voor U. Hoe zou U dan in deze tempel kunnen wonen die ik voor U heb gebouwd! Maar ook al bent U zó groot, wilt U tóch alstublieft luisteren naar het gebed dat ik vandaag tot U bid.

8:25-28

가장 큰 하늘이라도 주를 용납하지 못하지만 자기 백성 가운데 사시기를 기뻐하시는 주 하나님. 주께서 그리스도 안에서 우리 가운데 거하시니, 우리의 삶과 교회가 우리 안에 사시는 주를 드러내게 하소서. 우리의 마음을 주께 돌이켜 주와 합하게 하소서. 우리의 부족함과 죄의 고백을 들으시고 용서하시며, 예수님의 나라와 의로 우리를 덮으소서. 빽빽한 구름의 성령으로 우리를 채우셔서 감히 아무도 아버지의 자리를 뺏지 못하게 하소서.

시편 144편

여호와여 사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 알아 주시며 인생이 무엇이기에 그를 생각하시나이까
사람은 헛것 같고 그의 날은 지나가는 그림자 같으니이다
여호와여 주의 하늘을 드리우고 강림하시며 산들에 접촉하사 연기를 내게 하소서

O LORD, what is man that you care for him, the son of man that you think of him?
Man is like a breath; his days are like a fleeting shadow.
Part your heavens, O LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke.

Heer, wat is een mens nu eigenlijk, dat U om hem geeft?
Waarom zorgt U voor hem?
De mens is maar één zucht.
Zijn leven is als een schaduw die voorbij glijdt.
Heer, kom uit uw hemel en daal neer.
Raak de bergen aan, zodat ze gaan roken.

144:3-5

지나가는 그림자 같은 우리를 사랑하신 크고 영원하신 하나님. 우리의 힘과 지혜로 삶의 싸움을 싸워 이기려 하지 않고, 우리를 훈련하시며 구원하시는 주의 손을 붙잡아 주의 영원한 승리 안에 있게 하소서. 우리를 건드리시고 연기를 내시며 우리를 채우소서. 우리 뿐만아니라 세상도 우리가 주께 붙어있고 주께 속했음을 알게 하소서.
