시편 133 기름부음 anointing
보라 형제가 연합하여 동거함이 어찌 그리 선하고 아름다운고
머리에 있는 보배로운 기름이 수염 곧 아론의 수염에 흘러서 그의 옷깃까지 내림 같고
헐몬의 이슬이 시온의 산들에 내림 같도다 거기서 여호와께서 복을 명령하셨나니 곧 영생이로다 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing–life forever.
연합 Unity
북부 지방의 높다란 헐몬 산과 남쪽 지역의 아득막한 언덕 시온 산이 상징하듯, 거룩한 백성들 사이의 연합은 상극들까지 하나로 만듭니다(3절). 헐몬의 이슬이 시온에 내린다는 것은 기적입니다. 마찬가지로 지극히 다채로운 문화와 인종, 계급을 가진 이들이 주님 안에서 한 덩어리가 되는 연합은 그야말로 초자연적인 사건입니다. 주님이 허락하신 연합은 고대의 진귀한 향유 같아서 등 돌리고 외면할 수도 있는 이들을 향기롭고 매력적으로 여기게 합니다. 그러므로 “모든 겸손과 온유로 하고 오래 참음으로 사랑 가운데서 서로 용납하고 평안의 매는 줄로 성령이 하나 되게 하신 것을 힘써 지키”시기 바랍니다(엡 4:2-3).The unity of God’s people brings opposites together, symbolized by tall Hermon in the rural north and the little hill of Zion in the urban south (verse 3). For Hermon’s dew to fall on Zion would be a miracle—and so is the supernatural bond that brings people far divergent in culture, race, and class together in the Lord. The unity and love he gives us is like precious oil in ancient times (verse 2), making people fragrant and attractive to us who otherwise we would dismiss or reject. So “be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:2–3).
Prayer
세상은 이러저리 나뉜 인종과 문화의 장벽들을 넘어 서로 사랑하는 모습을 보고 우리가 그리스도인이라는 것을 알아볼 것입니다. 하지만 교회는 갈수록 이런 부분에서 세상을 닮아 갑니다. 어떻게 하면 다양하면서도 한 몸을 이루는 교회의 본모습을 찾을 수 있을지 가르쳐 주십시오. 혼자 의로운 척하지 않으면서 그 길을 이룰 수 있도록 이끌어 주십시오. 아멘. Lord, the world will know us by our love for one another across the racial and cultural barriers that divide the rest of the human race. Yet the church is often too much like the world in this. Teach me how to help the church be the diverse, unified Body it was meant to be. And let me do this in a non-self-righteous way. Amen.
