고린도전서 1-5장

십자가의 도가 멸망하는 자들에게는 미련한 것이요 구원을 받는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이라

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

De boodschap over het kruis is dwaasheid voor wie verloren gaan, maar voor ons die worden gered is het de kracht van God.

1:18

아무도 자신을 속이지 말라 너희 중에 누구든지 이 세상에서 지혜 있는 줄로 생각하거든 어리석은 자가 되라 그리하여야 지혜로운 자가 되리라
이 세상 지혜는 하나님께 어리석은 것이니 기록된 바 하나님은 지혜 있는 자들로 하여금 자기 꾀에 빠지게 하시는 이라 하였고
또 주께서 지혜 있는 자들의 생각을 헛것으로 아신다 하셨느니라

Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a “fool” so that he may become wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”;
and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”

Laat niemand zichzelf bedriegen. Wanneer iemand van u denkt dat hij in deze wereld wijs is, moet hij eerst dwaas worden; pas dan kan hij wijs worden. Wat namelijk in deze wereld wijsheid is, is dwaasheid bij God, want er staat geschreven: ‘Hij vangt de wijzen in hun eigen sluwheid.’ En er staat ook geschreven: ‘De Heer kent de gedachten van de wijzen; Hij weet dat ze niet meer dan lucht zijn.’

3:18-20

주여, 아무리 말씀해 주셔도 우리는 속으로는 부정하며, 기어이 세상에서 지혜있는 자가 되려고 애쓰고 있습니다. 하나님 보시기에 어리석어서 나의 간교함에 스스로 빠지고, 하나님과 형제를 원망하는 자 되지 않게 붙들어 주소서. 하나님의 능력이시고 지혜이신 십자가의 도가 우리에게서 나타나지게 하소서.

시편 28편

여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖으오니 나의 반석이여 내게 귀를 막지 마소서 주께서 내게 잠잠하시면 내가 무덤에 내려가는 자와 같을까 하나이다
여호와는 나의 힘과 나의 방패이시니 내 마음이 그를 의지하여 도움을 얻었도다 그러므로 내 마음이 크게 기뻐하며 내 노래로 그를 찬송하리로다

To you I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

U, HEER, roep ik aan,
mijn rots, houd u niet doof.
Als U blijft zwijgen, word ik
een dode met de doden in het graf.
De HEER is mijn kracht en mijn schild,
op Hem vertrouwde mijn hart,
ik werd geholpen en mijn hart jubelde,
Hem wil ik loven in mijn lied.

28:1,7

그리스도 예수의 죽음이 헛되지 않게 그 부르짖음을 들으시고 무덤에서 건지신 약속의 하나님. 예수 그리스도와 더불어 우리에게도 힘과 방패시요 큰 상급이 되시는 하나님. 우리도 마음으로 주를 크게 기뻐하며 삶으로 주를 찬송하는 법을 알게 하소서.
