레위기 8-11장
아론의 아들 나답과 아비후가 각기 향로를 가져다가 여호와께서 명령하시지 아니하신 다른 불을 담아 여호와 앞에 분향하였더니
불이 여호와 앞에서 나와 그들을 삼키매 그들이 여호와 앞에서 죽은지라Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command.
So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.Op een keer deden Nadab en Abihu, twee van de zonen van Aäron, vuur en wierook in hun eigen vuurpan en gingen daarmee de tent van ontmoeting in. Zo brachten ze onheilig vuur bij de Heer. Dat was niet wat de Heer gezegd had. Daarom liet de Heer vuur uit de hemel komen en verbrandde hen. Zo stierven ze in de tent van de Heer.
10:1-2
하나님께서는 우리에게 거룩을 가르치시는데 우리는 가까이 다가오신 하나님을 업신여기며 우리 방식대로 섬길 수 있다고 생각합니다. 다른 불을 가져오며 예수 그리스도가 아닌 다른 이름과 방식으로 하나님께 나아갈 수 있다고도 생각하고 실제로 공공연히 그렇게 합니다. 하나님께 합당한 예배를 가르쳐 주셨지만 우리는 어렵다고 말하고 그것은 부족하다고 생각하며, 왜 하나님만 정하실 수 있냐고 불평하고 시기하기까지 합니다.
“그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길지니 우리 하나님은 소멸하는 불이심이라 (히12:28-29).”
시편 83편
여호와여 그들의 얼굴에 수치가 가득하게 하사 그들이 주의 이름을 찾게 하소서
그들로 수치를 당하여 영원히 놀라게 하시며 낭패와 멸망을 당하게 하사
여호와라 이름하신 주만 온 세계의 지존자로 알게 하소서Cover their faces with shame so that men will seek your name, O LORD.
May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.
Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD– that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.Zet hen voor schut,
zodat ze U om redding zullen smeken.
Zorg ervoor dat ze zich voor altijd zullen schamen,
dat ze voor altijd bang voor U zullen zijn,
en rood van schaamte zullen staan.
Zorg ervoor dat het slecht met hen afloopt.
Dan zullen ze begrijpen dat alleen U de Heer bent,
de Allerhoogste God van de aarde.83:16-18
하나님의 진노하심이 우리로 하여금 하나님을 찾을 수 있게 한다면 우리는 복된 자들일 것입니다. 하나님께서 잠시 잠간 우리를 징계하시고 훈련하심으로 우리가 하나님을 알 수 있게 된다면 그 고통이 영원한 것처럼 느껴질지라도 우리는 주의 자녀들일 것입니다. 수치와 낭패와 멸망의 불 속에서 주의 이름을 보게 하소서. 그 불로 우리를 달구어 내신 후에는 묵묵히 당하신 십자가의 뜻을 알게 하소서.
