신명기 4-6장

너희는 지켜 행하라 이것이 여러 민족 앞에서 너희의 지혜요 너희의 지식이라 그들이 이 모든 규례를 듣고 이르기를 이 큰 나라 사람은 과연 지혜와 지식이 있는 백성이로다 하리라

Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

Als de volken om jullie heen deze wetten horen, zullen ze jullie wijs en verstandig vinden. Ze zullen zeggen: ‘Wat is dat grote volk toch wijs en verstandig!’

4:6

우리 하나님 여호와께서 호렙 산에서 우리와 언약을 세우셨나니
이 언약은 여호와께서 우리 조상들과 세우신 것이 아니요 오늘 여기 살아 있는 우리 곧 우리와 세우신 것이라

The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.
It was not with our fathers that the LORD made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today.

Onze Heer God heeft op de berg Horeb een verbond met ons gesloten. Hij heeft dit verbond niet met onze voorvaders Abraham, Izaäk en Jakob gesloten, maar met óns hier.

5:2-3

이스라엘아 들으라 우리 하나님 여호와는 오직 유일한 여호와이시니
너는 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하고 힘을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하라

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Luister, Israël, de Heer is onze God. De Heer is Eén. Houd van Hem met je hele hart, je hele ziel en alles wat je hebt.

6:4-5

우리가 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 순종하며 하나님을 사랑하도록 명령하시고 선포하신 하나님. 명령을 주심에만 그치지 않으시고 우리가 따르고 지킬 수 있는 방법까지 예수님을 통하여 허락해 주셨습니다. 예수님 없이는 하나님의 말씀을 지키지도 못하고, 지킬 마음도 없는, 평생 무거운 짐진 자들로 남을 뻔하였습니다. 존재 자체도, 일하시는 방법도 유일하신 하나님. 나에게 이미 허락하시고 부여하신 것을 잘 나타낼 수 있게 하소서. 이 하나님을 기억하고 살아가는 삶의 기도가 우리의 생활을 더욱 활기차게 만들게 하소서.

시편 99편

여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데서 그들에게 말씀하시니 그들은 그가 그들에게 주신 증거와 율례를 지켰도다
여호와 우리 하나님이여 주께서는 그들에게 응답하셨고 그들의 행한 대로 갚기는 하셨으나 그들을 용서하신 하나님이시니이다

He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.
O LORD our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds.

Hij sprak tot hen vanuit de wolk.
Ze hebben zich aan zijn wetten gehouden.
Ze hielden zich aan de leefregels die Hij hun had gegeven.
Heer God, U heeft gedaan wat zij van U vroegen:
U heeft het volk vergeven dat het U ongehoorzaam was geweest.
Maar U heeft het volk wel gestraft.

99:7-8

오늘 우리 앞에 구름 기둥 가운데서 말씀하시지는 않지만, 더 확실하고 변치않으시는 성령님으로써 우리에게 말씀하시며 증거하시는 하나님. 오늘 우리에게 말씀하실 때에, 예수님의 순종과 헌신을 보셔서, 우리를 목이 곧고 마음이 강팍한 데에 그대로 두지 마소서. 하나님께서 말씀을 주시고, 말씀을 따를 방도도 주셨으니, 우리를 일으키소서. 주께 용서받아 순종하는 삶의 활기가 우리 안에 숨쉬게 하소서.
