신명기 32-34장

그들은 하나님께 제사하지 아니하고 귀신들에게 하였으니 곧 그들이 알지 못하던 신들, 근래에 들어온 새로운 신들 너희의 조상들이 두려워하지 아니하던 것들이로다
너를 낳은 반석을 네가 상관하지 아니하고 너를 내신 하나님을 네가 잊었도다

They sacrificed to demons, which are not God– gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your fathers did not fear.
You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.

Ze offerden aan de duivelse geesten in plaats van aan God.
Ze offerden aan andere, nieuwe goden.
Aan goden die pas in de mode waren gekomen.
Goden waar hun voorvaders niets mee te maken hadden gehad.
Ze luisterden niet meer naar hun God bij wie ze veilig waren.
Ze vergaten de God die hen had gemaakt,
de God uit wie ze waren ontstaan.

32:17-18

이스라엘이여 너는 행복한 사람이로다 여호와의 구원을 너 같이 얻은 백성이 누구냐 그는 너를 돕는 방패시요 네 영광의 칼이시로다 네 대적이 네게 복종하리니 네가 그들의 높은 곳을 밟으리로다

Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD ? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places. “

Israël, wie is er zo gelukkig als jij?
Je bent door de Heer Zelf bevrijd!
Hij is het schild dat jou beschermt
en het zwaard waardoor je sterk bent.
Daarom zullen je vijanden voor je buigen
en jij zal hen overwinnen.”

33:29

여호수아 1-3장

네 평생에 너를 능히 대적할 자가 없으리니 내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이 너와 함께 있을 것임이니라 내가 너를 떠나지 아니하며 버리지 아니하리니 강하고 담대하라 너는 내가 그들의 조상에게 맹세하여 그들에게 주리라 한 땅을 이 백성에게 차지하게 하리라

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.

Je leven lang zal niemand jou kunnen tegenhouden. Net zoals Ik eerst met Mozes geweest ben, zal Ik nu met jou zijn. Ik zal je nooit verlaten en je nooit in de steek laten. 6 Wees vastberaden en vol vertrouwen. Want jij moet dit volk het land geven dat Ik aan hun voorvaders Abraham, Izaäk en Jakob heb beloofd.

1:5-6

여호와의 언약궤를 멘 제사장들은 요단 가운데 마른 땅에 굳게 섰고 그 모든 백성이 요단을 건너기를 마칠 때까지 모든 이스라엘은 그 마른 땅으로 건너갔더라

The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

De priesters die de kist van het verbond van de Heer droegen, bleven midden in de Jordaan staan op de drooggevallen bodem. Heel Israël trok over het droge naar de overkant, totdat alle Israëlieten waren overgestoken.

3:17

하나님 아버지, 주 예수의 영이 우리와 함께 함을 기억하게 하소서. 하나님의 바람이 불어 우리를 은혜의 항구로 들이심을 믿게 하소서. 나의 연약함도 나의 교만함도 더 이상 주께 나아가는 데에 걸림이 되지 않고, 오히려 주께 더 나아갈 이유가 되게 하소서. 예수 그리스도 때문에 나의 가장 반역적인 순간에도 옆에 계시고 떠나지 않으시는 하나님으로 인해, 하나님을 향해 강하고 담대하게 하소서.

시편 106편

여호와께서 여러 번 그들을 건지시나 그들은 교묘하게 거역하며 자기 죄악으로 말미암아 낮아짐을 당하였도다
그러나 여호와께서 그들의 부르짖음을 들으실 때에 그들의 고통을 돌보시며 그들을 위하여 그의 언약을 기억하시고 그 크신 인자하심을 따라 뜻을 돌이키사

Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin.
But he took note of their distress when he heard their cry; for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.

Heel vaak heeft U hen gered.
Maar steeds opnieuw waren ze U ongehoorzaam.
Ze zakten steeds dieper weg in hun eigen slechtheid.
Maar als U hun moeilijkheden zag,
als U hun gekreun hoorde,
dan dacht U weer aan het verbond dat U met hen had gesloten.
Dan had U weer medelijden met hen,
omdat U goed en liefdevol bent.

106:43-45

하나님 아버지, 우리의 반역의 역사에도 불구하고 우리의 믿음 없음을 불쌍히 여기셔서 친히 우리 가운데로 오셨습니다. 우리에게 찢긴 손과 옆구리를 보이시며 만지게 하셨습니다. 주의 말씀을 듣고 읽음이 예수님의 손과 옆구리에 손을 넣어보는 것과 같게 하소서. 그리하여 믿음 없는 자가 되지 말고 믿는 자가 되게 하소서. 처음부터 있었던 그 언약을 따라, 예수님을 나의 주 나의 하나님! 이라고 부르고 고백하게 하소서.
